Paris, France, April 3, 2008 - Valeo is participating in the first “Planète Durable” show to be held on April 10-13, 2008 at the Parc des Expositions, Porte de Versailles, in Paris.
The Group, which is dedicated to enabling a better automotive world, has developed a variety of technological solutions which, when combined, can provide fuel savings of up to 40%. Valeo will present on its booth systems associated with its Powertrain Efficiency Domain, including the StARS stop-start micro-hybrid, double dry clutch and electromagnetic valve actuation. The micro-hybrid system will be available for testing on a smart fortwo (mhd) in a special outdoor area.
Valeo is also presenting, within its Comfort Enhancement Domain, its range of high performance filters designed to improve the quality of cabin air and the well-being of vehicle occupants.
The Group, in line with its longstanding commitment to environmental protection, has chosen to produce environmentally friendly products and systems, while ensuring cleaner factories and manufacturing processes.
