How to become a Valeo supplier

FAQ

Our code of ethics

Throughout the world, Valeo is committed to complying with a number of fundamental ethical principles regarding human rights, working conditions, and environmental protection.

Our suppliers must live up to our values

Valeo expects its suppliers to uphold the same standards of social and environmental responsibility. Compliance with this code of ethics is a decisive criterion for us in the choice and management of our suppliers.

 Human rights

Valeo expects its suppliers to uphold and respect the fundamental freedom of the individual. Suppliers must never in any way permit any violation of human rights and must not practice any discrimination in their hiring policy.

 Conditions in the workplace

Valeo works only with suppliers that uphold freedom of association and offer their employees a collective agreement prohibiting all forms of forced labor. No supplier can employ children for any reason whatsoever.

 Environmental protection

Valeo requires its suppliers to operate according to the precautionary principle, to encourage initiatives for greater responsibility regarding the environment, and to support the development and adoption of environmentally friendly technologies.
