Shareholders' Structure*

Significant events

To the best of the Company’s knowledge, the main shareholders were Pardus Investment Sarl* (19.7% of share capital and 19.0% of voting rights), the Caisse des dépôts et consignations, directly (3.1% of share capital and 5.5% of voting rights), indirectly through its subsidiary FSI (Fonds Stratégique d’Investissement) (5.9% of share capital and 5.7% of voting rights) and Barclays Global Investors UK Holding Limited (4.9% and 4.7%).

 

At 31 October 2009, Valeo held 2,794,869 of its own shares (3.6% of share capital, without voting rights) compared to 3,081,869 shares at 30 June 2009 (3.9% of share capital).

* The following table concerning the Company’s capital and voting rights has been prepared based on disclosures made to the Company in accordance with Articles L.223-7 and L.233-12 of the French Commercial Code, as well as information voluntarily provided by shareholders. The percentage of shares and voting rights held by each shareholder is based on the Company’s capital at 31 October 2009, corresponding to 78,209,617 shares and 81,330,619 voting rights (78,535,750 excluding treasury stocks).
