Valeo Stop-Start technology equips a Microbus of the Parisian public transport company RATP in the “Bièvre-Montsouris” area: when the bus stops, so does the engine
The RATP is using a Gruau Microbus fitted with a Valeo Stop-Start system on the “Bièvre-Montsouris” local service. The system allows the engine to be switched to standby when the bus stops, saving on fuel consumption and reducing noise levels.

Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) and Glass Lewis recommend that Valeo shareholders vote against Pardus resolutions
Valeo announced today that two leading independent proxy voting advisors, ISS and Glass Lewis had recommended that Valeo shareholders vote against the resolutions proposed by Pardus for eight Valeo Board members at the Annual General Meeting to be held on 21 May 2007. They also recommended voting for all of the Board’s proposals.

Recommendation of the Valeo Board of Directors regarding the draft resolutions of Pardus
The Valeo Board of Directors examined today the draft resolutions presented by Pardus European Special Opportunities Master Fund L.P. requesting eight Board Members as well as the voting of a resolution on the procedure to adopt should the number of Board Members be higher than the maximum legal limit of eighteen.

Valeo Raytheon Blind Spot Detection System Receives 2007 PACE Award
Valeo Raytheon Systems, a joint venture between Valeo and Raytheon Company, has received the prestigious automotive industry 2007 PACE Award in the product innovation category for its Blind Spot Detection System. The award, co-sponsored by Automotive News, Microsoft, SAP and the Transportation Research Center (TRC), was presented to Valeo at a ceremony held in conjunction with the Society of Automotive Engineers World Congress in Detroit.
