… An air conditioning system adapted

From 65° to 32° C in two minutes.

As a world first, Valeo, the European leader in air-conditioning systems, equipped the Corvette C5 driven by luc Alphand at the 206 Le Mans 24 Hours race with an air-conditioning system specially adapted to racing conditions in order to reduce driver fatigue. This lightweight system not only offers energy saving, but can also reduce the temperature of the cockpit from 65° to 32° in less than two minutes.

The partnership signed by Valeo with Luc Alphand at the end of 2005 has a major technical component: Valeo equips the racing and assistance vehicles of the Mitsubishi Motors Sports and Luc Alphand Aventures teams with the very latest lighting, wiping and air-conditioning systems
