NTERNATIONAL MARKETS, AT THE FOREFRONT OF VALEO’S GROWTH STRATEGY In 2015, Valeo’s sales growth outpaced the global automotive market by six percentage points, a remarkable performance which was also reflected in the year’s record high order intake of 20.1 billion euros – an increase of 15% compared with 2014. These results not only confirm automakers’ confidence in Valeo, but more importantly illustrate the Group’s growing international reach, with 30% of the orders coming from German automakers, 26% from Asian automakers, 24% from American automakers and 15% from French automakers. This rich and diverse customer portfolio is the result of efforts during recent years to realign the Group’s business geographically and thus position itself as a leader on the majority of its markets worldwide. The objective is to win market share in high-growth potential regions, especially in Asia, while continuing to grow in mature regions such as Western Europe and North America.
