Trend

A woman caressing the face of a girl next to an electric vehicle charging

2024 saw a slowdown in electric car sales. Hybrid vehicles, seen as a more affordable alternative, gained in popularity. The underlying trend remains positive, thanks to a broader offering and further technological progress. This is particularly the case in China, the most competitive market for electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids.

Valeo has a portfolio of solutions to address all levels of electrification and is also expanding its offering to include:

  • electric micro-mobility (two-wheelers, three-wheelers, urban quadricycles, etc.);
  • charging stations;
  • thermal management for data centers.

Leadership

The Valeo Power Division holds a leading position in vehicle electrification systems, including powertrain systems and thermal management systems.
