In addition to reducing their carbon footprint, Valeo’s technologies are essential for decarbonizing road transportation. As a result, electrification solutions directly reduce greenhouse gas emissions at the level of the whole vehicle. This is referred to as “emissions avoided by third parties”, or “avoided emissions”. Eventually, other Valeo technologies could be included. The Group has set a goal for its technologies to prevent 13.6 Mt of GHG emissions by third parties by 2030.
