With nearly 30 years of presence, Valeo Turkey has developed a very strong footprint and is among the largest suppliers addressing global OEMs and aftermarket customers both in Turkey and abroad. Today, 60% of the products are exported mainly to Europe.
With over a thousand skilled employees in the Group, we develop products and solutions for all car manufacturers in Turkey. Our product range covers passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, heavy vehicles, buses and coaches.
3 production plants are established in Bursa along with 1 Research & Development Center including a Design Center, meeting the highest Valeo quality standards and global OEM quality requirements. In Bursa, we produce quality Thermal Systems, Powertrain Systems, and Visibility Systems, while simultaneously focusing on the reduction of CO2 emissions for light commercial vehicles and on hybrid technologies.
A Valeo Thermal Bus Systems site, located in Istanbul, delivers its expertise in Thermal Systems, mainly heaters, pumps and components. Our National Headquarters, Valeo Service Activity and its distribution platform are also located in Istanbul.
Leveraging a competitive and highly skilled workforce combined with a dynamic local market and favorable geographical location, the vehicle production of 9 global OEMs in Turkey has increased almost fivefold from 300,000 units in 2002 to over 1.5 million units in 2018.

Our activity in Turkey consists of 3 Business Groups and Valeo Service for the aftermarket.
Valeo Transmissions is the largest and oldest Valeo activity in Turkey. The plant was established in 1989 and operates on an area of 23,000 m² with more than 850 skilled employees. The plant designs and manufactures the latest generations of Clutch, Torque Converters and Dual Mass Flywheel technologies for all range of vehicles, including hybrids. The plant has been recognized as a development center since June 2011 and leads projects with more than 50 major customers all around the world.
The Valeo Thermal Plant was established in 2011 and operates on an area of 5,400 m² with 121 employees. The plant manufactures HVAC units, Fan Systems, Front End Modules and brushless motors, which were added to the portfolio in 2019. The plant has been recognized as a design center in 2019 and has the ability to launch projects with leading automakers.
The Valeo Electrification Systems Plant in Bursa is expert in the production of alternators for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. The activity was established in 2011 and operates on an area of 7000 m² with more than 260 people. The site was recognized as a design center in 2019.
The Wiper Systems Plant in Bursa is dedicated to the assembly of the wiper blades, wiper arms, front and rear wiper mechanisms since 2006. Valeo Wiper System is the sole supplier in the local market for many OEMs like Renault, Ford, Fiat and Hyundai.
Valeo Service supplies original equipment spares to automakers and replacement parts to the independent aftermarket. It offers associated services for Turkey, Middle East and Africa in 13 product groups for passenger cars and 11 for heavy commercial vehicles. Our new digital program with a local website and loyalty program are now live in order to better address repairers, jobbers and drivers’ needs.
