Valeo has been engaged for many years in a process of sustainable development, in line with the principles of the United Nations Global Compact which the Group signed in 2004. This process – covering environmental responsibility, corporate social responsibility and commitment to society – aims to respond to the legitimate human, environmental and economic concerns of Valeo’s various stakeholders, including employees, customers, shareholders, suppliers, communities and public authorities.
Valeo is committed to honoring its responsibilities in all of these areas while respecting national legislation and international treaties and agreements. To reaffirm its commitment, the Group has published a Sustainable Development Charter outlining 15 principles to be respected by all employees, as well as suppliers and subcontractors.
