An E-shifter is a gear selection system that uses electronic signals to change gears instead of the traditional mechanical linkage. This technology allows for a smoother, more intuitive gear shifting experience, and can be found in the form of buttons, rotary dials, or toggles. Valeo develops all three types.
Our electronic gear shifter is composed of :
- 1 decorative toggle +/- with 2 step positions
- haptic targets and contactless technology
- 2 pushes (Parking & Mode ) with single detent with backlight
- 3 symbols (R – N – D) with backlighting (different colors)
