Ulrike Steinhorst, a German citizen, has extensive experience in top-level corporate positions, mainly at EDF, Degussa group and EADS/Airbus, with a strong focus on international business and strategy.
She joined the Électricité de France group in 1990 after being at the office of the Minister for European Affairs at the time of German reunification. Within EDF she held a number of positions in the International division, then within the General Management of the group, before becoming head of the International Subsidiaries in the Industrial division. In 1999, she joined Degussa AG group in Germany being Head of Human Resources of a division and then Vice-President of Executives Development. In 2007, she joined EADS where she served as Chief of Staff to the Executive Chairman. From 2012 until the end of 2017, she was Strategy, Planning and Finance Director at Airbus Group’s Technical Corporate division.
In 2017, Ulrike Steinhorst founded the consulting company Nuria Consultancy. In addition to her consulting activities, she is an independent director of several listed companies.
Ulrike Steinhorst is a state-certified German lawyer, graduated fromHEC Executive MBA, holding a Master Degree in public law (Université Paris II – Panthéon) and a former student of École nationale d’administration (ENA).
She is a German citizen and speaks German, English and French.
