Since the invention and widespread adoption of Stop-Start technology in 2004, we have expanded our offer to include both hybrid and 100% electric 48V solutions, as well as high voltage electric motors with the Valeo Siemens eAutomotive joint venture. An electric or hybrid engine requires a specific transmission system, and Valeo is capitalizing on its experience in that area by adapting its transmissions to these new engines. By controlling the entire powertrain from end to end, Valeo makes the driving experience as smooth and comfortable as can be.
