Smart electrification

From inductive charging to thermal management of batteries, including optimization of propulsion and thermal comfort on board, Valeo presents its hardware and software solutions designed to improve the range and comfort of electric and hybrid vehicles to maximize energy efficiency while reducing the carbon footprint of mobility.

Valeo unveils its market-leading compact, cost-competitive Gen 5 On Board Charger, building upon the proven Gen 2.5, meeting diverse EV needs with a power density of 4kW/L.

Valeo presents its Predict4Range software for intelligent thermal management, which optimizes Battery Electric Vehicles thermal strategies to extend driving range.

Valeo unveils Ineez™ Air Charging, its lightweight and easy-to-integrate 85 kHz wireless charging solution for plug-in hybrids and BEVs, delivering up to 11kW charging capacity, and including V2G feature – a turning point for consumer electrification.

Advanced Driving Assistance Systems (ADAS) and user experience

Valeo is pushing the boundaries of driver assistance thanks to its new-generation sensors, powerful computing units, embedded intelligence algorithms and expertise in software integration. The Group actively supports the rise of software-defined vehicles (SDV), where safety, agility and customization are combined with ever-increasing autonomy.

Valeo presents the first LiDAR cleaning system integrated on a level 3 vehicle. A concrete demonstration of its know-how in the service of the reliability of autonomous vehicles.

Valeo is exhibiting the front lighting systems of the Lynk & Co Z10 and the Zeekr 7x.

Valeo exhibits the rear lighting system of the Audi A6 e-tron as well as an OLED mockup to demonstrate its technology’s capabilities through various effects and customization.

Valeo showcases the RGB and multiLED strip used on the console of the Lynk&Co Z20, along with a tablet for displaying various animations.

Valeo first entered the Chinese market in 1994 and has since experienced significant growth, now operating 27 production units and 13 state-of-the-art R&D centers in the country. The company employs over 18,000 people in China, including an impressive 4,500 engineers focused on innovation and technology development.

Over the past three decades, Valeo has played a crucial role in the rapid expansion of China’s automotive industry. Today, China is Valeo’s largest single market worldwide, accounting for 17% of the Group’s global sales. By partnering with both established automotive giants and ambitious new entrants, Valeo reported that Chinese automakers represented 60% of its orders in China in 2024.
