Account Manager

The special feature as Account manager is to represent customer wishes in the company, to prepare and negotiate offers to customers, as well as to manage and secure prices and cost recovery.

The biggest challenge is to find the balance between high customer satisfaction and high profitability of all projects.

You can become a Key Account Manager or switch to Project Management.

The perfect candidate:

  • Studies with a focus on economics
  • Ideally previous knowledge in sales / in the automotive industry
  • Good knowledge of Excel

PG Customer Manager

“Responsible for the sales team of the product group for display and control elements at Daimler. In addition to leading the team, it is my job to be the voice of the customer in the company, especially for market and product trends.“

The special features as PG Customer Manager are the responsibility for the sales team of the product group for display and control elements at Daimler. In addition to leading the team, you will also be the customer’s voice in the company, especially when it comes to market and product trends. In sales, you are in contact with many different people from different areas with different goals – finding the right balance and possibly keeping an unpleasant course is the biggest challenge.

There are possibilities for an individual change in customer responsibility (change to another OEM) or in the product range.

  • Understanding the product life cycle
  • Good communication skills
  • High negotiating competence

Key Account Manager

The Key Account Manager Sales is responsible for project acquisition, customer care, price and contract negotiation”.

In addition, he is the contact person for questions and problems of the customer and thus contributes to the success of the company. The challenge in this position is to find a good compromise between the customer’s requirements and those of Valeo. In this position you have the opportunity to develop hierarchically but also across the board (Finance, Purchasing).
