Valeo leverages AI to transform vehicle development, software and the driving experience
September 30, Paris, France — From October 12 to 18, 2026, Valeo will be at the Paris Motor Show (Hall 5.3, Booth 53A51) to present its latest innovations designed to accelerate the automotive industry’s transformation. As vehicles are increasingly defined by technology and embedded intelligence, Valeo stands out as the key partner capable of scaling cutting-edge technologies for automakers while addressing major challenges for more safety, sustainability, electrification and software integration.

The New Automotive Frontier: SDV, AI, and Autonomous Driving
Software defined vehicle is the promise of vehicles evolving continuously via Over-The-Air (OTA) updates.
At the Paris Motor Show 2026, Valeo presents:
- Valeo anSWer, its comprehensive software platform suite developed to provide automakers with field-proven applications, scalable middleware, and cloud digital twin validation.
- Valeo Smart Safety 360 (VSS360), its “1-Box” architecture designed to support every stage of vehicle automation, from essential Level 1 and Level 2 ADAS safety features up to Level 2+ Highway Navigation on Autopilot (NOA).
- Valeo SCALA™ 3 LiDAR, to deliver the absolute multi-sensor redundancy required for advanced Level 3 and Level 4 unsupervised driving up to 130 km/h, when system liability replaces human driver oversight, detecting obstacles over 200 meters away.
- Enhanced Valeo Racer XR platform, a new type of in-car entertainment leveraging on-board sensors powered by multi-modal AI and deep learning to provide gaming experience.
Tomorrow’s Mobility: Connected, Safer, Sustainable
At the Paris Motor Show, Valeo showcases breakthrough solutions designed to deliver immediate driver benefits:
- Smart Electrification: Highlights include the Valeo Skateboard Power (integrated 800V platform), the Single-Fluid Cooling System (enabling 0–80% charge in 12 minutes and lowering battery carbon footprint by 50%), the CES 2026 award-winning Compact 5-Way Refrigerant Valve, Made-in-France 800V SiC Inverters, Bidirectional AC Chargers (V2H/V2G), and the Valeo Cyclee 48V eBike system.
- Safe Mobility: Features Adaptive Driving Beam (ADB), HD Pixel Lighting (up to 1.3M pixels), 360° Ground Projections for vulnerable road users, AquaBlade™ Wiping Technology (saving 288 ms of reaction time and 4 meters of stopping distance at 50 km/h), and the Panovision Panoramic HUD with integrated driver monitoring hazard alerts.
- Circular Economy: Backed by 45 years of expertise, Valeo delivers as-good-as-new remanufactured ADAS cameras, headlamps, and electronics
- Automotive Ecosystem: the Valeo Tech Academy upskills repair professionals via hands-on simulators.
