Paris (France), October 9, 2026 – Six months after its commercial launch, Chery Group France is accelerating the structuring of its aftersales operations. The group is partnering with Valeo Tech Academy to train network technicians on the advanced hybrid technologies powering its vehicles.
A network trained ahead of initial deliveries
Technician training is a mandatory prerequisite prior to the opening of any site. As of October 12, 2026, the group relies on 114 OMODA & JAECOO sales and aftersales outlets alongside 67 CHERY sites—the group’s eponymous brand launched on September 1st.
Valeo was chosen for its leadership in electrification/ADAS and its 30-plus years of presence in China, giving it a deep understanding of Chinese vehicle architectures.
“A carmaker is judged on its ability to service its vehicles in year seven. We set up our parts center and trained our workshops before delivering the first cars,” says Lionel French-Keogh, Chief Operating Officer of Chery Group France.
Marlène Carrias-Iked, VP Strategic Marketing & Digital at Valeo Service and Managing Director of Valeo Tech Academy, states: “We are delighted by the trust Chery Group has placed in us to support the rollout of its iconic brands in France. This partnership perfectly reflects Valeo Tech Academy’s core mission: bringing our technological edge and deep expertise in electrified and connected vehicles directly to distribution networks”.
The 4 pillars of Chery Group France’s aftersales strategy
