The Valeo site in Mühlhausen is the competence center for pipe processing.

The Valeo site in Mühlhausen is the center of competence for pipe processing and is part of the Valeo Power Division. The almost 200 employees concentrate on the production as well as the assembly of clutch pipes, caster and brake lines as well as brake hoses. These components are made from the raw materials metal, rubber and plastic.

Mühlhausen, the town of churches and gates, has about 36,000 inhabitants and is the district town of the Unstrut-Hainich region and is located in the middle of the green heart of Germany. In the south-west of the Unstrut-Hainich district lies the geographical center of Germany.

The adjacent Hainich National Park is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Ancient Beech Forests of Germany”. During the decades of the restricted military area, nature was able to develop undisturbed. Today, the Hainich offers nature lovers a large number of places to go and hiking opportunities.
