  Ultra Wide Band (UWB) based occupancy monitoring system

  The Ultra Wide Band (UWB) based Occupant Monitoring System is an advanced solution designed to enhance safety and security within vehicles.

  The system offers reliable and precise tracking of objects and occupants within the vehicle cabin utilizing UWB technology as a short-range wireless communication protocol. Placed discreetly on the top of the cabin, the system analyzes the cabin context to detect the presence of living beings, including newborns and children, providing essential peace of mind for drivers and passengers.

  AquaBlade® Wiper Portfolio

  Flat Blade wipers structure with integrated nozzles to enable uniform washer fluid distribution all along the blade even in the camera area not accessible by other solutions. It is the best-in-class windshield washing and wiping combined.

  Perfect cleaning and liquid saving is ensured by electronic control to synchronize spray release with arm position. Scalable solution with 1 or 2 ramps to reduce cleaning duration and heating of the blade for usage in cold conditions.

  Cabin Air Filters

  Cabin air filters act like a barrier against dust, particulate matter and pollens that pass through the air inlet of the HVAC module.

  Valeo offers a full range of cabin air filters, an essential contributor to safe and healthy air in the cabin, from standard filters to very high efficiency combined filters with activated carbon layers that can stop odors, harmful gases and drastically reduce allergen and virus activity.

  Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) Modules

  The HVAC module ensures passenger comfort by regulating temperature, ventilation, air distribution, as well as humidity and air quality inside the cabin.

  With the deployment of electric and autonomous vehicles, new trends of more spacious interior design with sleek dashboards have been introduced. Valeo has therefore enriched its portfolio of HVAC modules with an ultra-flat concept, perfectly adapted to this constraint, without compromising on efficiency.

  In line with its commitment to sustainability, Valeo also offers HVAC modules designed with low-emission materials. We are notably the first Automitive Tier 1 Supplier to provide an HVAC with 100% recycled polymer materials as standard. These initiatives are part of Valeo’s ambition to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.

  R-744 Standard Heat Pump

  Valeo is strongly committed to sustainable development and environmental protection: it was the first equipment supplier to promote R-744 Standard Heat Pump (natural refrigerant), winning a PACE Award in 2017 for this innovative technology. (PACE: Premier Automotive Suppliers’ Contribution to Excellence).

  R-744 (CO₂) Refrigerant has a significantly lower climate impact than fluorinated refrigerants (R-134a or R-1234yf). It also offers more power and efficiency at extreme cold temperatures (-18°C) thanks to its thermodynamic properties. It is the most efficient way of heating an electric vehicle in cold conditions.

  Electrovalve for car sensor cleaning system

  The Electrovalve is specifically designed to ensure an optimization of the whole sensor cleaning system efficiency by simplifying the fluid distribution. In addition to that, it avoids additional, heavy and expensive pumps in large systems and it is stackable for an easy integration.

  Zone Controllers

  At the core of upcoming Software-Defined-Vehicles are Valeo’s cutting-edge Zone Controllers. These Zone control units deliver two crucial functions: they facilitate high-speed data transfer and manage power distribution across various sections, or “zones,” of the vehicle.

  Our strategic partnership with Leoni, combining leading competencies in ADAS and Power Electronics, underpins the development of our Zone Controllers. Our holistic understanding of vehicle architecture and wiring systems allows us to deliver an optimized Zone Controller system in terms of packing, power dissipation, and load balancing.

  Truck Clutches: Light and heavy duty trucks

  Most of the truck are driving a manual transmission, equipped with a manual dry clutch. The manual transmission clutch is designed to transfer the power from the engine to the transmission. The clutch needs to ensure the connection between the engine and the transmission without slipping. Valeo proposes a wide range of high-quality manual transmission clutches for light to heavy-duty trucks.
