  Charger converter: High Voltage Onboard Charger and DC/DC Converter Combo

  The high voltage combo OBC DC/DC combines the functionality of an Onboard Charger (OBC) with that of a DC/DC converter (DC/DC). The OBC is the interface between the car and the public grid, it converts the energy from the grid network AC (Alternative Current) source to the DC (Direct Current) voltage of the car high voltage battery in respect with the public grid and regulations.

  The 48V to 12V converter is a car electronic device which converts Direct Current to Direct Current, adapting the voltage of the 48V electrical network to the 12V electrical network.

  In our case, the 48V to 12V DC-DC converter is bi-directional as it provides Direct Current from 48V network to 12V network (buck function) but also from 12V network to 48V network (boost function).

  Active Grille Shutters help control air flows to improve fuel efficiency. Located at the front bumper lower opening, shutters are opened and closed automatically.

  Active Grille Shutters are an essential contribution to vehicle aerodynamics performance and ultimately to EV driving range extension, by decreasing the vehicle’s drag coefficient while ducting the airflow for an optimized heat exchange at the front end.
