Their role has expanded with battery preheating, an essential functionality in cold climates to preserve the performance and range of electric vehicles.
Valeo wants to democratize the implementation of HVCH by offering a flat design, allowing their integration into compact air conditioning systems and thus meeting all requirements.
Electrical Oil Pumps (EOP) are mainly used in all types of transmissions (Automatic Transmission – AT, dry or wet Dual Clutch Transmission – DCT, Dedicated Hybrid Transmission – DHT, Continuous Variable Transmission – CVT, Manual Transmission – MT, reducer) for lubrication and cooling (gears, clutches, eDrive) and in a lower proportion also for actuation (of clutches, hydraulic gear shifting, hydraulic park-lock). For both of those application fields, Valeo also offers Smart Pump, being EOP (Electric Oil Pump) with a combination of active functions.

Ultra Wide Band (UWB) technology, integrated into smartphones, enables encrypted communications between the user and the vehicle. Acting as a handless key fob, the phone seamlessly interacts with the vehicle’s locking and ignition systems, providing secure and convenient access without the need for a physical key.
Front End Modules include Active Grille Shutters, Heat Exchanger, Radiators and a Fan System enclosed in a shroud. Front End Modules can manage the airflow at the front of the vehicle for both aerodynamic performance and cooling requirements (cabin or battery). As part of the vehicle structure, Front End Modules are also designed for crash absorption and resistance.

An E-shifter is a gear selection system that uses electronic signals to change gears instead of the traditional mechanical linkage. This technology allows for a smoother, more intuitive gear shifting experience, and can be found in the form of buttons, rotary dials, or toggles. Valeo develops all three types.
