The High Voltage DC/DC converter is a reversible electronic device which lowers the Direct Current from the High Voltage battery to a Low Voltage Direct Current used by most of the vehicle electrical equipment (e.g. dashboard, electric window…). The DC/DC converter is also in charge of keeping the passengers safe by insulating them from the High Voltage electricity network.

At its core, Panovision provides excellent visibility to both the driver and the passenger. Traditional dashboards and display systems can often be obstructive, requiring drivers to take their eyes off the road to check vital information. Panovision transforms the windshield into an interactive display, seamlessly integrating key information into the driver’s line of sight. This not only improves safety by reducing the need for eye movement but also ensures that passengers can easily access information, enhancing their overall travel experience.
Chillers are used in direct and indirect heat pump architectures to cool the glycol that runs in the battery coolers. Chillers are connected to the air conditioning circuit. Their modular design in plates allows battery chillers to be used in all levels of vehicle electrification, from hybrid to 100% electric, and they can be adapted to any kind of refrigerant (R-1234yf or R-744).
The Air Temperature Sensor or the Air Intake Temperature Sensor determines the temperature of the outside air entering the engine.
Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) behaviour is key to ensure the best efficiency in all conditions.
A water-cooled condenser is part of a specific hot loop/cold loop thermal management architecture. It connects the cooling loop to the air conditioning system. This innovative condensers use coolant rather than air to liquefy air conditioning refrigerant vapour.
Battery cooling needs are increasing and require higher condensation performance. But a condenser needs also to work as an evaporator to recover heat from air at cold temperatures to avoid too much impact on the vehicle range.
It is a key exchanger in a heat pump loop to heat up the cabin. However, when the heat pump cannot provide enough heat, a High Voltage Coolant Heater is required.
The reducer, also named gear reducer or speed reducer, is a solution to adjust the number of revolutions of the electric motor and convey those revolutions to the vehicle’s wheels.
It ensures the same function as a transmission in a conventional vehicle.
