The High Voltage Power Box combines the functionality of an Onboard Charger (OBC), a DC/DC converter and a PDU (Power Distribution Unit). The OBC is the interface between the car and the public grid. A flap actuator is using an electric motor to move a flap. Chillers are used in direct and indirect heat pump architectures to cool the glycol that runs in the battery coolers. Chillers are connected to the air conditioning circuit. Their modular design in plates allows battery chillers to be used in all levels of vehicle electrification, from hybrid to 100% electric, and they can be adapted to any kind of refrigerant (R-1234yf or R-744).
Valeo electrical Compressors enable high performance thermal management of A/C and Heat Pump systems, in electric and hybrid vehicles.
